Terms of Service — Oversite Tracker

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Oversite Tracker application (the “Service”) operated by Oversite Technologies, LLC. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a binding contract to use Oversite Tracker. The Service is available in the United States and internationally, subject to applicable law.

2. Description of Service

Oversite Tracker provides automated USCIS immigration case status tracking using the official USCIS Case Status API. The Service is informational only and does not constitute legal advice. Oversite Technologies is not a law firm. For advice regarding your specific immigration matter, consult a licensed immigration attorney.

3. Account Registration

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information and to keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at help@oversitetechnologies.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not:

Track a USCIS case without authorization from the case holder.
Scrape or query the USCIS API outside the Service’s official interface.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
Use automated bots or scripts outside of intended functionality.
Upload malicious code or content that infringes third-party rights.
Misrepresent your identity or organizational affiliation.

5. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference. You retain ownership of all data you provide. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process that data solely to provide the Service. We do not sell your data.

6. Data Deletion

You may permanently delete your account and all data at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account, or by emailing help@oversitetechnologies.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request.” We will complete deletion within 30 days and confirm by email. See our Privacy Policy (Section 6) for full details.

7. Payments and Subscriptions

Certain features require a paid subscription (currently $9.99/month), billed in advance through Google Play (on Android) or the App Store (on iOS). You may cancel at any time in your Google Play or App Store subscription settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled per Google Play and App Store policies, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

8. Accuracy of Case Status Information

Case status data is retrieved directly from the official USCIS API. USCIS is the sole authoritative source. Do not make legal or immigration decisions based solely on information displayed in Oversite Tracker.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, software, design, and branding of the Service are the property of Oversite Technologies, LLC, protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Oversite Technologies, LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraud, or harm others. You may close your account at any time (see Section 6). Upon termination your data will be deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Transfer of Ownership

If Oversite Technologies is acquired or merges with another company, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance. You will have the opportunity to export or permanently delete your data before any transfer. We will notify you of ownership changes as they occur. Any successor entity must honor these Terms or obtain your active consent before applying materially different terms.

14. Changes to These Terms

When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and display an in-app notice with a plain-language summary of what changed. Material changes will not apply to your account until you have actively reviewed and accepted the updated Terms through an affirmative in-app confirmation. Continued use alone is not treated as agreement. If you do not accept the updated Terms, you may close your account before the changes take effect.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Oversite Technologies, LLC is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles.
